Join The Impact Circle

A once-in-a-school's-history opportunity to shape what Key Biscayne K–8 becomes.

Our Legacy

The Shark Impact Circle is a new tradition at Key Biscayne K–8 — a community investment initiative that funds the programs, staff, and spaces public funding can't cover. The Founders Circle honors the very first partners to join at a meaningful level, forever recognized as the families and businesses who helped establish this tradition from day one.

Why It Matters Right Now

Key Biscayne K–8 serves 750+ students today on a campus built to serve up to 1,200. Public funding covers the essentials — but it doesn't cover the reading interventionist a struggling first grader needs, the robotics kit that should be in every classroom instead of shared school-wide, or the shade structure that makes outdoor recess usable during peak sun hours.

We asked our own teachers and families where the gaps are, and the answers lined up exactly:

  • 65% of teachers flag reading/literacy as the area needing the most support

  • 52% of teachers rank technology/resources as their #1 unmet need

  • 44% of families want more robotics/AI programming

  • 54% of families want expanded special needs support

Every Founders Circle contribution goes directly toward closing gaps like these.
